진정한 '천상의 목소리' 임형주의 두 번째 디지털 싱글앨범 'Crystal Tears(크리스털 티어스)' 세계적인 팝페라테너 임형주가 3년만에 두 번째 디지털 싱글앨범 'Crystal Tears(크리스털 티어스)'를 발매했다.  이번 디지털 싱글앨범은 2009년 올해 세상을 떠난 이들을 위한 추모 싱글앨범으로 계획되어 제작된 앨범이지만 겨울시즌을 위한 앨범이기도 하다.   이번 디지털 싱글앨범의 타이틀곡이자 올해 2009년 우리 곁을 떠난 대한민국의 영웅들을 기리기 위해 새롭게 녹음한 신곡인 에릭 클랩튼의 'Tears In Heaven(티어스 인 헤븐)'은 오는 2010년 1월 국내개봉을 앞두고 있는 2007 퓰리처상 수상에 빛나는 미국 작가 코맥 매카시의 동명소설을 영화화한 헐리우드 영화 'The Road(더 로드)'의 공식 이미지송으로써 아들을 잃은 아버지의 뜨거운 부성애와 세계인을 감동시킨 임형주 특유의 애절한 천상의 목소리가 맞물려 많은 이들의 심금을 울릴 것으로 기대된다. 또한 올해 갑작스레 자살로 생을 마감한 임형주와 특별한 인연을 자랑했던 일본의 유명 음악가 고 가토 가즈히코에게 추모곡으로 헌정된 '임진강<Piano Ver.>'은 올해 임진강 참사 희생자들을 위한 추모곡이기도 하다. 또한 마지막 곡으로는 올해 초 선종하신 고 김수환 추기경과 노무현 대통령의 공식 추모곡으로 큰 인기를 모았었던 임형주의 지난 미니앨범 'My Hero(마이 히어로)'의 삽입곡이었던 '천개의 바람이 되어'의 영어버전인 'A Thousand Winds'가 수록되었다. 이번 디지털 싱글앨범은 이처럼 추모곡들로 채워져 있으며 얼마 남지 않은 2009년의 겨울 문턱에서 올해 우리 곁을 떠난 많은 이들을 향해 마지막 인사를 할 수 있는 기회이다.
